Day 11 = ‘Monday Mental Shake’

Monday funday everyone!! Hahaha Another day stretching my brain like laffy taffy, weeding through all the endless information scattered throughout the web. You know, just another day in the life off a programmer. All and all a good day.

Animator

I feel like it was productive day. I’ve been working on Phase 1 of the 2D space Shooter Game. It’s 1 of 2 of additional features you add to the game. It’s a bit different than the bulk of the course being that, you have to implement your own code to make it work. That being said today, I went a bit cross eyed. I was researching how to make the camera shake whenever the player took damage. I came upon several ways to do so. Did I want to make the camera move when the player was damaged or did I want to make a new animation and just attach to my main camera. I went with the latter and was glad I did. It took a lot less code and I was able to get some more practice using the record feature of the animator. So it was a win win! Anyways, finishing up on some new Power-Ups before bed, so back to it.
