Day 5 = (‘the phoenix’)

And in the ashes rose a Phoenix!!! That’s what I felt like today, as I powered up my new computer. and let me tell you… did it feel good after a few days of struggling with my rig thinking it could handle the immense multitasking load. I was about to upheave on it. Who am I kidding, I was in complete denial,  I was in a kind of tech co-dependency, not wanting to let go of the computer that has got me through so much before. All the late nights of studying code and laughing to myself maniacally when I experienced a breakthrough,  But enough was enough! I was done pulling out my hair every time it would crash and I’d have to start my project anew. This last year my computer was a mess. I didn’t have to go down with it and honestly this internship, this new computer, this new chapter,  couldn’t have happened at a better time.

Anyways… I shook off the past few days of failure and dove right back into my work. Having to start again from the beginning added the repetition I actually needed at this stage of my learning, So, in a way, it was a good thing. I flew through what I thought would have held me up and for once I felt like I was in a pure state of Zen. Chinese call it wucci. completely balanced and in harmony. LOL I’m like a little boy at Christmas with his new toy, I know. overzealous with joy! For real though! I’m excited because I know the only thing stopping me from actually developing something amazing, is myself. so I’m bearing down for the Long haul and absorbing everything I can because I’m truly blessed with the amazing instructors at GameDevHQ/Unity and can’t ask for a better team! So stay tuned because, I only see potential for something amazing from all of us! It’s back to my studies, because time is money and I just spent all mine
