day 27 = ‘tuesday thoughts’

Aloha! Hope everyone is having a good day. Life is good here on the islands. Great to be keeping busy during this pandemic. So many are without jobs or purpose right now. To have these studies, is to have sanity and I am truly thankful for it 😂 I can tell you, without this, I’d be going crazzzzyyy!

I forgot to mention… I had a really cool moment yesterday with my team. We were all discussing our projects during afternoon stand-up and we were speaking about blockers we had encountered. When one of my teammates had expressed a problem with his players thrusters. I let the team hash it out for a moment when I remembered I myself had encountered a similar problem when I was developing my game. I then offered my 2 cents and said that maybe you are putting the script in the start and not the update. So that the script is only running that one frame and not updating with every frame, ya dig?? Hope I explained that good enough…. I’m trying here!! But yeah after the session ended, he came back to say, that it had worked! That felt more of an accomplishment then anything I’ve done so far. I just love to teach and see my peers learning! Sooo cool!

Well before I go, I thought I’d add a gif since I’m getting soo good at it! Above I’m depicting the ease of Timeline and Cinemachine in Unity. As you can see, all you need to do is drag a clip on top of one another to create a smooth blended shot! I mean you cant get easier then that. I’m loving this stuff!!
