Aloha my friends! Another day as a developer and just jotting down my thoughts for Friday. I’m trying to pick up my spirit and write about something not so emotional. I feel like its important though. Not to ignore the process and keep it real as much as possible, without sounding like a lil bitchhh!! 🤣 Anyways… On a better note the people at ACI have extended our internship an extra 4 days. So Friday the 18th will be our last official day.
It’s been a positive day non the less. I’ve manage to get out some applications and looked into getting back into some more coding boot camp. This is the industry I want to be in and I will def be continuing my studies. I’ve made up my mind and I’m all IN BABY! Like I’ve said before, to have these Unity courses handed to us by GameDevHQ is absolutely incredible. If you can manage to apply yourself and get through it, the opportunities will be endless.
We are all heartbroken that this journey is coming to an end so soon. We feel blessed but, at the same time betrayed and confused. Why such opportunities on the island have such a hard time coming into fruition. We are in the talks about hopefully connecting and somehow having a place where we can feel comfortable addressing future questions for those who wish to continue their journey. I have faith! One thing Hawaii does real well is Ohana(family)! We got this everyone!
To think we could all be the first of our kind here in Hawaii. Imagine! We could be the ones who bring new industry and ideas that will propel the Aina and economy, without tourism. It be amazing to contribute and be a part of that. We’ll see though, all will be revealed next week. So back to work and I’ll be keeping you in the loop. Much love and mahalo 😜
