day 40 = Thats a wrap!

Aloha Kahako! Here we are, a day I knew was coming but one, I never wanted to actually arrive. I can tell you it’s been one hell of a journey to where I am today! I owe my thanks to the Johnathan and Al and all the people at GameDevHQ, ACI & The Economic Board of Oahu Etc. They have provided me with a skill that will propel my career and gave me the means to support my ohana for life! What I owe all of them could never be repaid but,to those who are reading this that have helped me. If you’re ever on Maui, you’ll have a place and connects on island for the rest of your life. Remember that!

Looking back, I find it incredible that in the 40 days I was able to create a working 2D Space Shooter game (which you’ll soon find on my personal website), and learned Timeline and working the camera in the GreatFleece. With these skills I have an extremely busy future ahead of me. I have only gone through 2 of the course content that was provided for me so, I can only imagine where I’ll be by the end of my studies. So please, keep tabs on me and you’ll be seeing more from me in the future regardless of my internship.

I’m kind of racing to get this medium finished so I can turn it in before getting the boot! 😂 Johnathan and everyone was so cool to hold a workshop on how to get a job in the game industry. Was absolutely so informative and just from that workshop a lone made this experience worth it. I feel like I’m walking away with so much. Even though I’m down this is the end of this experience, I know its only leading to more just like this, if I can put in the work! And I can, And I WILL!
